Dr. Lamerson has been practicing dermatology for over 25 years and is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology with training in cosmetic, surgical, and general dermatology. She is one of only a handful of dermatologists in Nevada with a Board Sub-Certification in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, and has successfully completed thousands of Mohs Micrographic Surgery procedures. Her practice also includes general, pediatric, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of numerous medical societies and associations including the American Society for Mohs Surgery. In addition, she is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and is actively involved in the education of the next generation of Nevada physicians. She has received numerous awards for teaching and research, and has authored over a dozen articles in scientific journals and chapters in medical textbooks. Her involvement in research also applies to pharmaceutical research, and she has been Principal Investigator for dozens of clinical studies looking at acne, psoriasis, eczema, basal cell carcinoma, onychomycosis, actinic keratosis, warts, herpes, and MRSA.
Originally from Michigan, Dr. Lamerson received her Medical Doctor (MD) degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed residency training at the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. She enjoys all the seasons and the many activities that Northern Nevada provides.
